Full List of Pharmaceutical Companies in Taiwan (2024)

There are many pharmaceutical companies in Taiwan, a tiny island country in Asia. There are 59 contract manufacturing pharmaceutical locations. 44 of these sites has European Medicines Agency (EMA) or FDA approval, and seven sites has Chinese approval.
According to region, Taipei, the capital city, has the highest concentration of pharma companies, followed by Tainan, in the Taiwan’s southwest coast. Taipei’s municipalities such as New Taipei and Taoyuan tops the list. Taoyuan has the highest manufacturing pharmaceutical companies in Taiwan. These companies offer API chemical production, API biologics (protein and peptide).
There is poor presence of contract manufacturing and foreign pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Taiwan. Pharma companies from Taiwan have headquarters in other countries. They are: Seven-Star Pharmaceutical Co Ltd (Thailand), Tanvex BioPharma Inc (Grand Cayman, UK).
Some pharmaceutical companies with their headquarters in Taiwan, such as UBI Pharma Inc, Lotus Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, ScinoPharm Taiwan Ltd have their parent companies in other countries.
