With the help of top clinical research organizations in France like RCTs, Euraxi, and national platforms like F-CRIN, and Inserm, France has established itself as one of the best destination for clinical trials, with 50% participation in all clinical trials in Europe.
Spain, Germany, and France topped the list for most patients participation in clinical trials in 2021. Oncology and rare diseases remains the main area of research, and accounted for 45% of all clinical trials in 2021. France ranked second for early-stage clinical trials in oncology in Europe, and fourth globally behind the US, China, and Spain.
