Healthcare in Bangladesh is expected to grow to USD 14 billion by 2023. The medical device market is valued at USD 442 million (June 2020). The main medical imports include surgical equipment, lab equipment, electro-medical equipment and technologies, dental products, diagnostic equipment, medical devices, and consumables/disposables.
The Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) in Bangladesh regulates the pharmaceutical sector and medical devices in the country.
